Pria yang berasal dari Arizona State University ini lahir hanya dengan satu kaki saja. Namun kekurangannnya ini tidak menghentikannya untuk jadi juara nasional gulat kelas berat! Robles mengambil kelas 125 pound dengan 7-1 kali kemenangan atas juara bertahan Matt McDonough of Iowa.

2. Bobby Martin

Ia dilahirkan tanpa kaki satupun! Namun Bobby selalu berjuang dengan susah payah untuk menjadi raja. Usahanya ini pun membuahkan hasil yang menakjubkan, kini ia bisa menjadi pemain Pro NFL.

3. Qian Hongyan

Pada usia 3 tahun, gadis kecil ini mengalamai kecelakaan mobil yang mengharuskan para dokter mengamputasi kedua kaki Qian demi kelangsungan hidupnya. Dengan dibantu setengah bola basket sebagai tubuh palsu, Qian mewujudkan ambisi besarnya untuk bersaing sebagai perenang dalam Pralimpiade 2012 di london.

4. Lance Benson

Pria berusia 36 tahun ini lahir tanpa kaki. Namun hal itu tidak membiarkannya untuk mengikut lomba marathon di New York. Dengan duduk di atas skateboard dan menggunakan tangan untuk mendorong badannya, dia berkompetisi di New 2005 Ing York City Marathon hanya dalam 3 jam 37 menit!

5. Vinod Thakur

Penari hip-hop dari India ini tak memiliki kaki sama sekali! Namun kecintaannya terhadap dance tak meluluhkan ambisinya itu. Dengan meniru video tarian yang dia download dari warnet, dia belajar dengan cepat sehingga membawa dia menjadi “INDIA GOT TALENT”.

Lahir tanpa kedua kaki, membuat Connoly terbiasa dengan tatapan orang asing yang menatap aneh kepadanya. 8. Huang Jianming

Pria yang berasal dari kota selatan Cina Shenzhen ini kehilangan kedua kakinya ketika mengalami kecelakaan kereta api. Setelah tragedi tersebut, istrinya meninggalkan dia karena telah kehilangan mata pencaharian. Kini dia menjadi seniman jalanan perjalanan, keliling melalui lebih dari 20 kota di China dalam sepuluh tahun. Dia pun bisa mendaki tembok besar china pada tahun 2006 dan berharap wisatawan yang melihatnya sedang mendaki bisa menikmati menjadi manusia sejati dan berpikir tentang potensi yang mereka miliki.

10 Fakta Menarik Mengenai Titanic

Kini, sejumlah misteri masih menyelimuti keberadaan penyebab tenggelamnya kapal yang diklaim takkan tenggelam itu.Tapi, banyak  hal menarik yang perlu kita ketahui tentang Titanic. Yang pasti, sejak tenggelamnya kapal tersebut, ratusan ribu bahkan jutaan bunga diberikan sebagai ucapan belasungkawa atas korban Titanic.

Berikut ini, 10 fakta unik yang perlu kita ketahui dengan tenggelamnya kapal tersebut.

1. Harga-harga tiket yang dijual pada saat Kapal Titanic akan berlayar di tahun 1912 itu senilai 4.350 dolar AS (kelas utama), 1.750 dolar (untuk tiket kelas dua), dan 30 dolar AS untuk tiket kelas tiga.

2. Setelah menabrak gunung es, Titanic masih bertahan untuk mengapung selama 2 jam 40 menit.

3. Interval waktu saat salah seorang awak kapal melihat ada gunung es di depan kapal Titanic sekitar 30 detik.

4. Dengan kapal yang besar dan jumlah penumpang yang mencapai sekitar 2000 orang, maka Titanic membutuhkan 14 ribu galon air minum setiap 24 jam, dan 825 ton batubara per hari untuk pelayaran.

5. Saat pelayaran itu, Titanic membawa 900 ton barang yang ada di kargo bagasi.

6. Dari ribuan penumpang itu, terdapat 13 pasangan yang sedang merayakan honey moon (bulan madu) pernikahan mereka.

7. Sekitar 14 tahun sebelum Titanic berlayar, seorang penulis novel bernama Morgan Robertson pernah membuat novel dengan judul ‘Futility’ (Kesia-siaan) pada 1898. Dalam novelnya itu, Morgan menulis tentang sebuah kapal besar bernama ‘Titan’ menabrak gunugng es di Lautan Atlanticdi malam yang dingin pada bulan April. Entah sekadar menulis atau ahli peramal, faktanya tulisan Morgan benar. Titanic menabrak gunung es di Laut Atlantik pada 15 April 1912.

8. Dalam peristiwa tenggelamnya kapal Titanic itu, terdapat dua ekor anjing yang selamat.

9. Ibarat sebuah bangunan kekaisaran (imperium), Kapal Titanic memiliki luas dan besar bangunan yang sama luasnya dengan istana kerajaan.

10. Kucing biasanya menjadi lambang keberuntungan sebagian orang. Ia kerap dibawa kemana pun pergi, termasuk naik ke kapal untuk berlayar. Ternyata, selama pelayaran, Kapal Titanic tidak membawa seekorpun kucing ada di dalamnya. Pemilik Kapal Titanic tidak mengizinkan kucing untuk mengawasi tikus (hewan pengerat) ada di kapal tersebut. Instal BBM Di PC

BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) is a proprietary Internet-based instant messenger and videotelephony application. It was developed by the manufacturer of the BlackBerry, BlackBerry Limited (formerly known as Research In Motion Limited (RIM)). It was released to Android a few days ago. Follow the tutorial to Install BBM on your PC.

Requirements:

1.Android SDK
Download and extract Android SDK bundle from this link.
2.BBM APK
Download and extract BBM Apk from this link.

Instructions to Setup BBM:

1.Go to the extracted adt-bundle folder. Open SDK Manager.exe
2.In the opened window select Tools -> Manange AVDs…
3.Create a new Android Virtual Device with RAM greater than 512 MB and then start the created Virtual Device.

4.Copy the downloaded BBM.apk file to path [Extracted Folder]/sdk/platform-tools/
such that the file should be /sdk/platform-tools/BBM.apk
5.Now move to the folder /sdk/platform-tools/ using file explorer.
6.Select File->Open Command Prompt within the platform-tools folder(for windows 8).

or

 Press and hold the Shift key and right click on the platform-tools folder  and click on Open Command Window Here(for windows 7).

7.Now enter the command in the command prompt.

adb install BBM.apk

8.Wait for some minutes. Now BBM will be installed in your Virtual Device . Open the BBM app from the App launcher.

and select Next

i)Storage->Storage Tree->Empty

6.Then start the virtual device. In the screen select Install Android-x86 to hard disk.

7.In the next screen select Create/Modify Partition.

8.Then create a new primary bootable partition and select write. After finishing writing select quit.

9.Then install android in sda1 and select type as ext3 , choose yes for installing grub.
10.After installing remove live iso from VirtualBox and reboot. Now you can boot into Android 4.3 .

Belajar Semaphore Cara Mudah Cepat

Belajar semaphore cara mudah dan cepat ini adalah cara mempelajari isyarat semaphore dengan mudah dan cepat. Semaphore (dalam bahasa Indonesia, kata yang baku adalah "semafor") menjadi salah satu teknik kepramukaan tentang penyampaian isyarat berita di samping morse.

Penyampaian isyarat semaphore atau semafor dilakukan dengan menggunakan sepasang bendera. Bendera berukuran 40 x 40 cm dengan tongkat pegangan sepanjang 50 cm. Tidak ada ketentuan yang mengikat terkait warna bendera semphore, namun yang umum digunakan terutama dalam Gerakan Pramuka adalah warna kuning dan merah bersilangan.

Bagi pramuka terutama golongan penggalang hingga pandega keterampilan dan penguasaan semaphore sangat diperlukan. Selain semafore menjadi salah satu syarat dalam SKU (Kecakapan Umum) dan SKK (Kecakapan Khusus Juru Semboyan dan SKK Juru Isyarat Bendera), semaphore akan sangat bermanfaat dalam situasi darurat serta dapat melatih kemampuan motorik dan daya ingat. 

Cara Mudah dan Cepat Belajar Semaphore

Salah satu cara yang paling mudah dan cepat dalam menghafalkan kode isyarat semaphore adalah dengan menggunakan metode "8 Penjuru Mata Angin" atau terkadang disebut juga sebagai metode "Jarum Jam". Dengan metode ini, menghafalkan semaphore tidak dilakukan urut sesuai dengan urutan abjad, namun dihafalkan perkunci yang terdiri atas 7 kunci.

Dalam metode ini posisi tangan disusun dalam 8 titik di sekeliling tubuh yang meliputi titik di bawah tubuh, kiri bawah tubuh, samping kiri tubuh, kiri atas tubuh, atas tubuh, kanan atas tubuh, samping kanan tubuh, dan kanan bawah tubuh. Selengkapnya lihat gambar berikut:

1. Kunci 1: Salah satu tangan berada di titik 1 dan tangan kedua berada di titik 2 - 8 sehingga terbentuk 7 huruf (kode isyarat semaphore) yang terdiri atas:

   (1)	1 dan 2   =	Huruf A	(5)	1 dan 6   =	Huruf E
   (2)	1 dan 3   =	Huruf B	(6)	1 dan 7   =	Huruf F
   (3)	1 dan 4   =	Huruf C	(7)	1 dan 8   =	Huruf G

Dengan menggunakan metode 8 Penjuru Mata Angin ini, belajar semaphore pasti akan menjadi lebih mudah dan cepat hafal. Cara menghafalkannya adalah dengan urut perkunci mulai dari kunci pertama hingga kunci ketujuh. Dengan berpatokan kunci pertama salah satu tangan berada di posisi satu, kunci kedua salah satu tangan berada di posisi dua dan seterusnya.

Ketentuan Dasar Mengirim atau Menerima Isyarat Semaphore

Isyarat semaphor diberikan secara berpasangan, artinya terdiri atas dua pihak di mana satu pihak sebagai pengirim dan pihak lainnya sebagai penerima. Dalam menyampaikan dan menerima isyarat semaphore terdapat beberapa ketentuan yang antara lain:

1. Pengirim dan penerima isyarat semaphore saling berhadapan dan memakai bendera semaphore.
2. Sikap tubuh tegak dengan kedua kaki agak terbuka. Posisi bendera disilangkan di bawah tubuh (posisi siap / tutup).
3. Untuk memulai pengiriman, pengirim memberikan isyarat "Tanda Perhatian" berupa huruf "R - Tutup" atau "U - R" secara berulang-ulang.
4. Jika penerima telah siap, penerima mengirimkan huruf "K" sedangkan jika belum siap penerima mengirim huruf "Q".
5. Setelah penerima siap, pengirim mulai mengirimkan berita (pesan) huruf perhuruf. Setiap satu kata ditutup dengan "posisi tutup".
6. Apabila penerima dapat menerima (membaca) pesan perkata, penerima mengirimkan isyarat huruf "C". Sedangkan jika tidak paham (tidak dapat menerima dengan baik), pengirim mengirimkan isyarat huruf "I-M-I". Pengirim mengulangi mengirimkan kata terakhir yang tidak dipahami penerima.
7. Apabila pengirim keliru mengirimkan pesan, pengirim mengirimkan isyarat "Tanda Salah" atau mengirimkan huruf "E - Tutup" delapan kali kemudianmengulangi mengirim satu kata terakhir yang keliru.
8. Jika semua pesan (berita) sudah selesai disampaikan, pengirim mengirimkan huruf "A-R" dan penerima membalasnya dengan huruf "R" jika telah dapat menerima semua pesan.
9. Untuk mengirimkan angka, terlebih dahulu diawali dengan isyarat "Tanda Angka" (posisi 5-6) kemudian kirimkan angka dengan ketentuan angka 1 = A; 2 = B; 3 = C; 4 = D; 5 = E; 6 = F; 7 = G; 8 = H; 9 = I; dan 0 = J. Jika pengiriman angka sudah selesai dan hendak berganti mengirim huruf kirimkan isyarat huruf "J" atau "V".

Itulah cara mudah dan cepat dalam mempelajari isyarat semaphore atau semafor serta ketentuan dasar mengirim dan menerima isyarat semaphore.
